Joelle Noun

Joelle Noun had a career most people would not walk away from. Timeshare sales, good money, a clear path in front of her. She walked away from it anyway and joined Checkmate Financial Group as one of our first agents. On paper it did not make sense. She did it because she believed she could build something better here.

The start was humbling.

She will be the first to tell you it did not click overnight. Final expense is its own craft. Helping a family protect the people they love is nothing like selling a vacation, and the early months were hard. The confidence took time. The results took longer.

Then she decided.

What turned it around was not a script or a shortcut. It was a decision. Joelle decided she actually wanted this, and she started showing up like someone who did. Every day. Early. Ready to work.

She did the unglamorous thing.

She sat next to Davy, our VP of Sales, for months. She watched how he handled a call. She asked the questions most people are too proud to ask. She took the notes, ran it back the next day, and did it again. There is no secret beyond that. She out-worked her own learning curve.

Today she is one of the best at what she does.

Joelle is now one of the strongest final-expense agents on our floor and a regular on the top-closers board. She is doing better here than she ever would have in her old career. More than that, she is the person our newer agents sit next to now. The student became someone worth learning from.
