1. Our commitment

Checkmate Financial Group LLC wants every visitor to be able to use this site. Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we measure new pages and changes against it.

2. How we build for it

Accessibility is built into how the site is made, not patched on:

Semantic HTML, so headings, landmarks, and lists read correctly.
Keyboard operability for navigation, menus, and forms.
Visible focus states, so you can always see where you are.
Sufficient color contrast for text and interface elements.
Alternative text on meaningful images.
Reduced-motion support that respects your system preference.

3. Ongoing review

A website is never finished. We review accessibility as content and features change, and we fix issues we find or that visitors report.

4. Third-party content

Some embedded content from third parties, like maps, may not fully conform to our target standard. If any of it gets in your way, contact us and we will help you with the information directly.
