Cayo Lima has been a licensed insurance professional since 2021, helping individuals and families protect their financial future. He works across Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, annuities, and indexed universal life. Families sit down with him in English or Portuguese, whichever feels like home.

Cayo specializes in indexed universal life planning. He builds each strategy around what the family wants the money to do: accumulate value over time, open up options for retirement income, and leave a legacy for the people they love. More than 100 families hold active IUL policies he helped them set up and keep in force. Active is the part he is proudest of. A policy only does its job if it stays in place.

Every plan is tailored to the client’s goals. He earned his reputation one personalized plan at a time, and he intends to keep it that way.

Cayo leads a growing team at Checkmate, dedicated to developing and mentoring the next generation of agents. The bar he sets for them is the same one he holds himself: know the products cold, explain them plainly, and put the family’s goals first.
