SMS Program Terms

1. The program
“Checkmate Financial Group SMS” is the text-messaging program operated by Checkmate Financial Group LLC (“Checkmate,” “we,” “us”), a licensed insurance agency at 5728 Major Blvd, Ste 702, Orlando, FL 32819. The program lets us respond to your quote requests, confirm and remind you about appointments, service your inquiry or policy, and, only where you have separately consented, send occasional marketing messages. These SMS Program Terms work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. How you opt in
You join the program only by taking an affirmative step: checking an unchecked consent box on one of our web forms after entering your phone number, texting us first, or giving a licensed agent your express permission on a call. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. We keep a record of your opt-in (what you agreed to, where, and when).
3. What we send
Depending on the consent you gave, messages may include:
- Replies to your quote request and questions from a licensed agent.
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling links.
- Updates related to your inquiry, application, or policy service.
- Marketing and promotional messages, only if you checked the separate promotional-consent box or otherwise gave express written consent.
4. Frequency & rates
Message frequency varies based on your request and your policy activity. Message and data rates may apply; check your mobile plan for details.
5. Opting out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message at any time to cancel. Any reasonable opt-out wording works, including QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and then no further messages unless you opt in again. We honor revocations within 10 business days, and usually much sooner; unless you tell us otherwise, an opt-out stops all further marketing texts and calls from Checkmate to that number. You can also ask us to stop texting you by calling (833) 997-6934 or emailing Info@Checkmatefinancialgroup.com. Opting out of texts does not cancel any appointment or policy; we will use another contact method you have provided if we need to reach you.
6. Getting help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at Info@Checkmatefinancialgroup.com or (833) 997-6934. Our team answers Monday through Friday, 9am to 8pm ET.
7. Your number is never sold
We do not sell your mobile phone number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text-message services that deliver our messages on our behalf. 8. Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability.
9. Eligibility
The program is intended for U.S. residents who are at least 18 years old and the authorized user of the mobile number they provide.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Program Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continuing to participate in the program after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
